If you are a fan of Role Playing Games, and or Strategy games then I
suggest you look into finding a copy of Dragon Force. Dragon Force is a
Great Game. It was made by Working Designs a well known Saturn Publisher.
If you havent heard of Working Designs, then Shame on you. Working Designs
are in my opinion one of the best game producers out there. There other
games for the Saturn Include. Shining Wisdom, Iron Storm, and Albert
Odyssey. All of which are must haves if your a Role Playing fan.
---StoryLine---
The Storyline behind Dragon Force is that of Waring
Nations. At First you chose a side, there are 8 to choose from. After
choosing your side you send your troops to battle. Depending on who you
pick is the path that you will take. Near the End of the game the Battles
are Massive, sometimes you will have up to 200 frenzied warriors onscreen
at one time. After you Defeat your opposition most join your side. The
main Boss in this game is Madruk, hes the whole Reason for the Wars all
across the land. Thats all I am going to give away about the
Storyline.
---Graphics---
The Graphics in this game are very impressive. The
map is not very Detailed although its not horrific. The Charaters all have
a life of there own, as well as the main King or Rulers. The spells are
very impressive as well as the games graphics.
---Play Control---
The play control takes a long while to get used
to. This is not a game you can just start and right away get into. It has
a fairly large learning curve. After you get the controls down though you
will completely forget how long it took to learn them "smile" , you'll be
to busy sending your troops to battle to hack and slash the opposition.
---Replay Value---
It must be huge. I have been playing with my
first army for about 10 hours now and well I am only half way done. There
are 8 total Storylines in all and I must say that I am going to finish
them all.
---Overall---
Overall This game is a must have. I really really
enjoy this game. Some of the battles get Tedious at times, but in the long
run you will forget about them. If you are buying this game make sure you
buy a Memory card. You dont really need one, It only takes up 284 Blocks.
I ran out and bought one though and well I must say I am glad I did. I
give the game a a 10 out of 10.
