goodcowfilms.com: farm: sega: random archives: shining force 3 - pc port usenet post

I'll concede that Shining Force III would be a difficult port, given that
the Saturn's sound processor was used to help calculate some tricky 3D
math and that the advance loading of data was timed rather delicately.
However, the fact that Sonic R, House of the Dead and Virtua Fighter 2 all
made it to PC pretty much intact suggests to me that SegaSoft has some
kind of mechanism to port Saturn games. Maybe even an outright emulator,
but that's more pipe dream than confirmed fact.

So if we're lucky, porting SFIII should be a snap. Wasn't there some rumor
about Panzer Dragoon Saga getting the PC treatment as well?
