Zombie Revenge US Release Date and Images

See actual Dreamcast-generated blood-sucking zombies

August 24, 1999

At their Gamers Day today, a Sega rep demoed Zombie Revenge running directly off Sega Dreamcast Hardware. The title has been available in arcades for some time now, and runs off the DC's arcade counter-part, the Naomi board. A perfect conversion was, of course, expected, and from what we were able to see of it, Sega has delivered just that. In addition to an exact graphical replica of the arcade game, though, Sega promises extra features, but they haven't revealed anything specific.

The game has an American release planned for first quarter of next year. The Japanese version is due out later this year, most likely in October. We'll be back at the title's Japanese release to report on what's been changed and what's remained the same. For now, check out these shots.
