Space Channel 5: The Movie

Ulala gets the grove on Hollywood style . . . how's that for spunk?

October 28, 1999

Gee, talk about an instant success story! Sega's upcoming super heroine, Ulala, of Space Channel 5 fame, has made only two public appearances thus far, and she already has a movie contract. Meanwhile, we've been trying to land Brandon a role as lead ape in that new update to Planet of the Apes, to no avail. Go figure.

Anyhow, Ulala will be starring in her own movie, appropriately titled Ulala: The Movie and set to be distributed on a MIL CD. For those who don't know CDs encoded in the MIL CD format can be played in both audio CD players and Dreamcast systems. Sticking the disk in the Dreamcast will allow users to see animation, and connect to the internet.

Further details on this zany film will be revealed in the upcoming issues of Famitsu DC and Japanese Dreamcast Magazine. Check back here for the full scoop!
