 Sonic Adventure US Shocker

Did someone say English/Japanese language option? Sega sure did!

August 27, 1999

We've just discovered some incredible news regarding the U.S. version of Sonic Adventure. If you were complaining about the English voices in the game, you can stop your whining. The U.S. version allows you to select from both the Japanese and American voices, as well as English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese for the text. Yes, you're completely free to keep the voices in Japanese while keeping the text in English.

Personally (I just can't stop interjecting personal opinion into these news articles), this fact, combined with the recently revealed internet options, have made Sonic Adventure one of my must-buy American title, despite the fact that I've played through the office's import copy to death. So, I'll say it again . . . see you on September 9th in the Chao gardens. I'll be playing with Japanese voices over English text . . . what about you?
