Since December 24th, our hands on Sonic Adventure coverage has been going full blast. The amount of text, images, and movies that this site has provided on the premiere Dreamcast game of its early life has been unmatched. There's so much coverage that even some of the staff around here can't keep track of it! As a service to our readers (and to our clueless staff, I'm looking at you Fernando... DOH!), I have decided to archive all of our Sonic coverage in this news article to be posted today, Friday the 8th, and stay up through the weekend. Next week all of our coverage will be archived in Laine's Media Page, so that anyone looking for their online Sonic fix will be able to locate movies, images, and text from all of the character's quests in a click of the mouse.
Sonic Adventure Impressions
The first hands on article covering Sonic Adventure; nine images and two movies, mostly covering Chaos 0 and Sonic's Emerald Beach.
Sonic Adventure Second Look
I go really in depth with my initial thoughts on the game, probably a good indicator of how my review is going to go. Fourteen images and four movies, the images cover the Eggman Hornet boss fight and Wind Stage, the movies cover Eggman Hornet and Wind Stage, as well as a SnowBoard scene.
Sonic Adventure VMS Game: Details And Images
A tutorial for Sonic's VMS guide, including walkthroughs for how to get started, how to grow your Chaos, and how to race the creature. Twelve images and one movie, the images cover the entire Chaos process, the movie is of a Chaos race.
Sonic Adventure: Pinball Games
I don't think any other site had visuals of the Sonic Adventure pinball games found in Casinopolis. The ten images and two movies highlight the NiGHTS and Sonic pinball games, very cool stuff.
Sonic Adventure: Sonic Level Guide
When the game was first released, a lot of people were having trouble playing through Sonic's quest; since no one had done an online help file up to that date, I decided to go ahead and write one up myself. Hopefully future FAQs will eclipse my admittedly rudimentary effort.
Sonic Adventure: Another Impression
Similar to my second look article, staff editor Marcus Lai gives us a sneak preview into his Sonic Adventure review.
Sonic Adventure: Tails Multimedia
The start of our six part Sonic Adventure multimedia series, this one covers Tails' quest. The twelve images and six movies cover Casinopolis, Snow Boarding, Knuckles Fight, Chaos 4, Sky Chase 1, and Sky Deck.
Sonic Adventure: Sonic Multimedia
Sonic is the main character of Sonic Adventure, so I went all out with his multimedia profile. Ten images and five movies cover Twinkle Park, Speed Highway, Sky Deck, Chaos 6, and Lost World.
Sonic Adventure: Knuckles Multimedia
Knuckles is the last of the "big" characters, after his profile, the size of the features tailors down considerably. Eight images and four movies cover Casinopolis, Red Mountain, Lost World, and Sky Deck.
Sonic Adventure: Amy Multimedia
Amy's levels are fun, but there are only three of them! Six images and three movies cover Twinkle Park, Mini Game, and Eggship level.
Sonic Adventure: E-102
E-102 is quite an enjoyable character to play with, and it shows in the multimedia profile. Six images and three movies cover Emerald Beach, Wind Level, and Red Mountain.
Sonic Adventure: Big the Cat Multimedia
I like to call him Biggie, but most people call him Big the Cat, I'd compromise on "boring mini game." Six images and three movies cover Twinkle Park, Ice Cap, and Emerald Beach.
Sonic Adventure Reader Reviews
Four reader reviews and counting, a good cross-section of the popular opinion; for the most part very well written.
