GameSpot News has learned that Sega will soon unveil Sonic Adventure 2 for the Sega Dreamcast. Sources close to the company have informed us that the title should definitely be making an appearance at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). It's likely that Sonic Adventure 2 will see a release by the end of 2000 in the US.

When asked if the game might be making an appearance earlier, such as at the Tokyo Game Show, Sega of America commented, "I don't believe anything Sonic-related will be at TGS."

Sources have also hinted that a second Sonic-based game is currently in the works for release this year. The title is said to feature the characters from the Sonic world in a kart-style racing game, but unfortunately Sega of America could not confirm this information at the present time.
