NFL Blitz 2000 is ready to go for Dreamcast; a reviewable revision of
the game came in today from Midway and I'm happy to report that the game
has been completely polished. All the annoying quirks and bugs from the
earlier betas are now long gone, what's left is an arcade-better version
of Blitz complete with four-player versus matches and a nice season
mode.
Also included in the final version of Blitz 2000 is a nice little
introduction that hypes you up for the game with exciting NFL footage -
really well done (what's with Midway and intros lately, their R2R intro
was good too!). Anyhow, I'm going to go hit the gridiron over the
weekend and return with a full review next week, keep yours peeled for
it.
