LA Machines Guns: Rage of the Machines is AM3's Model 3 follow up to the Model 2 Gunblade NY. Gunblade NY was an incredibly fun gun game that gave the gamer unprecedented control; loading the gamer with obscenely large artillery, the gamer flew around in a chopper shooting the bad guys. Depending on how and where you shot people, the level would branch out a certain way, it gave the gamer an unparalleled amount of control in a gun game.
It is the year 2025, the world is going about its business as normal, when out of nowhere an army of androids materializes in LA. The androids, dubbing themselves "Rage Of the Machines", begin a full-blown attack on the entire West Coast - something must be done to stop them...
Enter the gamer, playing the role of S.I.F.A.T, an ace counter-terrorist force, the player must launch an offensive against the androids and prevent them from causing further damage.
The game play in LA Machine Guns is similar to Gunblade NY, taking place over five levels, the gamers must quell the android forces. The game uses the same innovative enemy tracking system, so if you start shooting up an enemy you'll circle around them until they're dead.
Look for LA Machine Guns to hit big money arcades sometime this winter.
