This calm scene in the Canadian mountains is about to get pretty ugly... Don't miss our movies!

D2 Movie Madness

Gaze at more than five minutes of in-game footage of Warp's horror adventure.

June 23, 1999

With its gorgeous real-time rendered cut-scenes, Warp's horror sequel D2 created quite a stir when it was shown at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in May. In order to show you what all the fuss is about, we sat down and turned the whole E3 show video into nine super-sized (30fps) Quicktime movies.

Set in the Canadian mountains, D2 follows the adventures of Laura Lewis -- survivor of an airplane crash caused by a meteor impact. The gane features real-time exploration in a huge 3D world, snowmobiling and plenty of scares.

If you like gruesome horror movies like John Carpenter's The Thing, then you'll definitely want to fire up your Quicktime player (QT3 or higher) and click on the links below.
