Yes, it's another D2 soundtrack. But you won't find a CD inside.

D2 Goes Vinyl

Kenji Eno is NUTS! Details on his latest wacky endeavor inside.

February 8, 2000

IGN Dreamcast readers know just how warped the mind of Japanese gaming icon Kenji Eno is. Hey . . . whoever heard of a game without graphics, or packaging a game with a Braille instruction manual? But that's exactly what Eno and his development studio WARP did for the release of Real Sound on the Saturn and Dreamcast.

Eno's latest exercise in random wackiness involves the soundtrack to D2, a game set for release in America through Sega later this year. WARP has released a new soundtrack for the game, but you probably won't be able to go to the CD shops in Akihabara in order to pick up one of these, as it's being released on a 30cm record. The soundtrack will feature four remixes from the D2 Sketches 1 and 2, with Side A containing "Hold Over" and "Snowdrop (vinyl edit)" and Side B containing "Slip Thru (vinyl edit)" and "Snowbird."

The record is available at this address on WARP's webpage for the price of 2310YEN. The catalogue number is SCJD-10001, although CD-JAPAN currently doesn't have a listing for it.

If you can pick up one of these, drop us a line and tell us what you think.
