 D2 Date Finalized

Finally, a new release for Warp's D2 has been confirmed. Details inside.

August 30, 1999

Early last week, IGNDC brought you news on the possibility of yet another delay for Warp's deeply anticipated D2. Rumors of the game been pushed back until at least 2000 spread like wild fire across online websites. Thankfully, these reports have turned out not be entirely true.

What do I mean by that? Well, as we suspected, Laura's adventure won't make the October 23rd release date, but Kenji Eno is confident that the game will be available before the end of this year. In fact, a new date of December 23rd has now been pencilled in. Cleverly enough, the title will ship two days prior to Christmas, guaranteeing high sales over the annual shopping season. If anything else happens to affect D2's arrival over the next few months, we'll let you know. -- Matthew Langan, IGNDC
