4 Wheel Thunder Delayed

After being happily pushed forward, it gets unhappily pushed back. Details inside.

4 Wheel Thunder, the no-holds-barred off road race-fest being developed to continue Midway's "Thunder" game franchise (a la Hydro Thunder), has been officially pushed back to a scheduled May release date.

Ironically enough,the title was officially planned for a May release, but was later upped to March. Apparently, someone decided the game wouldn't be satisfactory by March, and wanted more time to work getting more cars on screen at once, thus explaining the delay.

You're going to have to wait just a bit longer for an alternative to Sega Rally 2, but we've been playing this game for months now! Check out our impressions, screens, and videos in our preview, linked below.
