Is this a heavily modified UBB script or is it an entirely different kind of forum? There are MANY similarities to UBB's but I've noticed that this one is a whole lot faster and has that different copyright info... Just curious.

It's a UBB clone that actually does a better job. UBB was using so much resources that the hosting provider for dricasworld.com demanded we stop using it immediatly. The vBulletin software uses PHP with a MySQL database back-end and really screams.
