I remember the topics about the e-mails of Yuzo Kozhiro , and I have some questions that maybe some of you can answer .
Yuzo Kozhiro is still at Ancient , so Ancient haven´t been disolved ?
What is his job at Ancient ?He is just the music programmer , or he´s the Game Designer?
Instead he´s at Ancient he can do the music for other companies , I supposse , since he have done the music of Shenmue ?
Thanks for your possible answers .

Ancient is still alive and well, and is based at Yuzo's large family home in the Tokyo suburbs. Yuzo owns and runs Ancient himself, and produces its games (and obviously writes the music). Several of his family members who also worked on early classic Sega games work there too.

You might also be interested to know that when Yuzo was a teen he trained with some of the great animation artists and composers in Japan at Studio Ghibli (Japan's equivalent of Disney, that made Nausicaa, Princess Mononoke etc).

He does music for selected other games, like Shen Mue, and he mentioned a CD being released through Square's record label, but I'd have to find out.

He's also helping me find a new apartment in Tokyo, for when I move back there in Nov. Joy.

He oversees game projects and also management of his sofware company, sort of like Mizuguchi-san does with the newly formed United Games Artists (ex Space Channel 5 team).

They're only working on one game at the moment. No idea what it is, but it's Dreamcast.
